An oldie but a goodie - The Union Square Greenmarket has been around for yonks - I remember it from my first trip to NYC about 25 years ago! (in fact it began in 1976 with just a few savvy farmers)
I just wish there were MORE markets like this conveniently situated in the middle of Sydney city. Loaded with variety and quality produce and decent prices!! If there was more access during the week when people are actually passing on their way to or from the office or lunch we would all be eating fresh food on a more regular basis and supporting small business. Slowly slowly...

oh, and I bought some damn fine cheese from here also. Passionate producers make all the difference.
